Instructions

Preparation

  • In another bowl, beat the coconut oil until fluffy, then fold it into the masa dough.

Assembling Tamales

  • Spread a portion of the dough on a corn husk, add your desired filling, and fold it carefully.

Cooking

  • Steam the tamales for about 1 to 1.5 hours or until firm and cooked through. Serve warm.
