Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat until it’s hot.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Introduce the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, soy sauce, and minced ginger, mixing everything well.
  • Cook until the cabbage wilts and becomes tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the ground beef in soy sauce and sesame oil for 20 minutes before cooking. Chop cabbage uniformly for even cooking.
