  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pieces lemons, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat them with Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, garlic, and lemon juice; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve with the garlic lemon butter sauce drizzled over the top, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor. Consider adding herbs like thyme or rosemary for additional complexity.
