  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Stir in the ground beef, cooking until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour in the hot honey, stirring it into the beef mixture and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • In serving bowls, layer cooked rice or quinoa, followed by black beans, the hot honey beef mixture, and diced bell peppers.
  • Top your bowls with avocado, cilantro, tortilla chips, or sliced jalapeños, based on your preference.
