For Serving

  • Greek yogurt or cottage cheese For a protein-rich breakfast or snack.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Core and slice the apples evenly, aiming for uniform thickness (about 1/4-inch thick).
  • Place apple slices in a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the slices if using, and toss gently to coat.

Cooking

  • Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; work in batches if needed.
  • Cook for 10–15 minutes, shaking halfway through to ensure even browning.
  • The apples are done when tender and slightly caramelized at the edges.
  • Serve warm over Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, or use as a pancake topping.

Notes

For lower calories, skip the sweetener or use very sweet apples. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
