  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), sliced thinly Use pre-sliced beef for quicker preparation.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or frozen are both suitable.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce For added flavor, consider marinating beef beforehand.
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil Used for stir-frying.
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch Mixed with the soy sauce to thicken the sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For aromatic flavor.
  • 1 inch ginger, minced Adjust amount based on spice preference.
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish Add freshness and color.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until it's browned.
  • Stir in the broccoli florets and cook until they are tender.
  • In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and cornstarch, then add to the skillet. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Toss the cooked ramen noodles into the skillet, mixing everything together.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve in a large bowl and consider pairing with steamed dumplings or a side salad. A drizzle of sriracha can add heat to the dish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
