1-Pot Gochujang Pasta

A creamy and spicy pasta dish that combines gochujang with heavy cream, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, and loved by the whole family.

Ingredients

Pasta Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta Any type of pasta, including gluten-free, can be used.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons gochujang Adjust the amount to control spiciness.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with coconut milk or almond milk for variations.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Garnish

  • Green onions, for garnish Chopped, for serving.

Instructions

Cooking

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • In the same pot, combine gochujang, heavy cream, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Stir until the sauce is well mixed and heated through.
  • Add the cooked pasta back into the pot and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Alternatively, freeze for up to a month, keeping in mind that the sauce's texture may change.
