Instructions
Preparation
Press the tofu for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides.
Cooking
Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
Stir in the coconut cream, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until the mixture is warm and well combined.
Add the crispy tofu back to the skillet and gently toss it in the sauce until coated.
Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for spice or swapping coconut cream for full-fat coconut milk.
