Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, cinnamon, sugar or honey, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  • Spread the chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crunchy.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftover chickpeas in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For best results, re-crisp in the oven before serving.
