Instructions
Preparing the sushi rice
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Combine the rice and water in a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 18 minutes, then remove from heat and allow it to sit covered for another 10 minutes.
Seasoning the rice
In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
Once the rice is finished cooking, fluff it with a fork and gently fold in the vinegar mixture.
Assembling the bowls
Place a portion of sushi rice in each bowl.
Top the rice with avocado slices, crab meat, and cucumber slices.
